A post relating to a series of images produced by Eric Fisher, that indicate area’s of the worlds major cities and where people are taking images in these cities. The red area’s are images by tourists and the blue by locals.
A heat map of the world that indicates the most popular places in the world based on the number of geo-tagged image uploads to the Panoramio service. The map seems to line up with the United Nations World Tourism Organizations rankings from 2009.
Jason has traveled the world extensively during the last 20 years, with overland journeys on six continents and across over 90 countries.
