Every traveler has their own personal horro stories of long distance bus journeys that seem to go on for ever. Liza and I had to endure 47 hours of mind numbing torture in Africa, back in 2001.
The tree climbing Lions of Tanzania’s Lake Manyara National Park are quite a site. These magnificent creatures will rarely climb tree’s elsewhere, but at Lake Manyara it was quite common.
The MV Liemba has been cruising the shores of Lake Tanganyika for close to a century. She still runs to this day, and a journey aboard her is a fascinating voyage.
This weeks image is of a young male lion on the lush plains of the world famous Serengeti national park of Tanzania. I took this shot back in 2001 when Liza and I travelled through east and central Africa.
Jason has traveled the world extensively during the last 20 years, with overland journeys on six continents and across over 90 countries.
