American Samoa is an island that is rarely frequented by travellers, and a destination I found of great interest. This image shows how the harbor of Pago Pago has recovered since the Tsunami.
The natural beauty found along the coast of the small island nation of American Samoa is summed up in this one image. A unique and beautiful view of a series of palms upon a rocky out crop.
In New Caledonia a couple years ago, we were out cruising for a secluded beach spot for lunch. I noticed an old stone building in a farmers field and It was just begging of me to climb the barbed wire fence, and take it’s photo.
Few travelers venture further than Noumea on arrival in New Caledonia. We recommend a self drive camping tour, of this beautiful island.
An image of a large piece of drift wood that I came across, whilst walking along a secluded black sandy beach near the village of Thio, on New Caledonia’s Eastern coast.
An image I took in 2010 of a local fisherman, net casting for some fish on New Caledonia’s world famous and UNESCO listed lagoon. I watched this man stalk his catch for quite some time, before getting this shot.
An image I took in 2008, whilst Liza and I were in Vanuatu. We were having a bite to eat at one of the foreshore cafe’s when, the sky kept getting darker and darker. Pretty soon the wind would pick up and the heavens would begin to open.
