Whilst making my way through Peru and up the West coast of South America. The bus I was travelling on came to a halt behind a long line of other vehicles, and I mean a long line (at least a mile). This truck was the cause.

Bolivia’s North Yungas Road is one of the most dangerous roads in the world. It is often referred to as, ‘The Road of Death’ or ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Road’. I first encountered the drama and mystique of this road in 1992.

An image taken back in 1993 when I trekked Peru’s famous Inca Trail. The children would constantly keep saying ‘Dolce Dolce’ meaning sweet. Please give me a sweet. As you can tell by the look on their faces. I refused.
World First – Man Walks Entire Length of Amazon River
Not really related to travel, but I couldn’t help but tell others of this amazing feat. This monumental journey took over 2 years to complete, and saw adventurer Ed Stafford find himself in all sorts of predicaments along the way.
