The Przewalski’s horse (or Tahki) was an animal that I’d never heard of until I went to Mongolia. The future of this species of wild horse is now looking better, with numbers slowly increasing.
Prayer Wheels are always something that have interested me when traveling to Buddhist Monasteries. I love to sit and watch the worshippers run their hands along the wheels. Every person will have their very own style.
An image captured at the Erdene Zuu Monastery, that I captured during our trans Mongolian train journey back in 2007. The Monastery is once again a place of worship after the fall of the communist regime.

The vast openness of the Mongolian Steppe is quite a site. This is a harsh, but very beautiful country, and the nomadic lifestyle of those who live on the Steppe has to be admired.
Whilst heading out on our four day adventure on the Mongolian Steppe, we passed this very colourful religious Ovoo on the side of the road. I had to stop and get a photo of it, as it was one of the largest we saw,
